Rosina~Mae is a young contemporary womenswear line designed by Rose Mae Turner. Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 Collections were featured in the fashion show. About the Collections: “Here is the look book of the recent Rosina~Mae Collections. Fall 2009 was inspired by the drab economy. I began with a more mono-chromatic color scheme with a hint of silver mixed in… and as the economy became “brighter” I added more vibrant accessories like gloves and clutches into the mix… & for Spring 2010 you see lots of saturated hues! I was inspired by this whole aura of a jet-setter-party-girl! She’s a girl on the go… from fashion show to after party to red carpet event she goes! I also thought about this when designing. I introduced “Rosie”, a Rosina~Mae classic staple item. The swim-coverup and dress in one is perfect for the beach and the after party! I also introduced dresses that both tied at the shoulders and also could be worn as halters. Many dresses have fabric that doesn’t wrinkle for a girl-on-the-go’s crazy lifestyle! I also thought about delicious treats like cupcakes, ice-cream, and cotton candy with my Spring color palate. What can I say… I have a sweet tooth! Overall, I was pleased with my collection… and thought it to be deliciously edgy!”
